Functions & Responsibilities:

• Contributes towards the overall goal and objectives of the organization
• Works in line with the Red Cross and Red Crescent Principles
• Adheres to the Security rules and procedures
• Ensure adherence to PHC standards as given by the Department of Health to ensure good quality service
• To maintain Pharmacy and warehouse on regular basis (Expiry management, Storage Conditions, Reception & Dispatch of Medicines).
• Management of the pharmacy cold chain in the health facility in all aspects
• Assist other health staff in instrument sterilization
• Update Bin cards on daily basis
• Maintain daily, weekly and monthly consumption record and share with relevant program staff
• Participation in trainings and meetings
• Ensure proper data management through the completion of appropriate registers, tally sheets, and reports
• To ensure the availability of required medicine and timely communicate deficiency of medicines to Pharmacist, Sindh.
• Offer services to all age, gender, religious groups of people.
• Compile and ensure timely submission of daily/monthly reports and records.
• May require to perform other related duties assigned by supervisor as per organization’s set standards.
• Adhere to all relevant medical and ethical standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Demonstrate cultural competence and sensitivity to meet the diverse healthcare needs of the patient population.

Education

• Qualified and registered Dispenser from Medical Faculty Sindh or Certified Diploma in Dispensary from Government Recognized Institute.

Experience

• Minimum 01-03 years of working experience in primary/secondary/tertiary hospitals/health facilities

Competencies

• Good command of Microsoft Office (word, excel)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassion and empathy for patients.
• Knowledge of local and national healthcare regulations.
